Plant Meditation & Movement with Linden, April 29th
$ 50.00
April 29th | 5:30–7:30 PM | MOVE Studio, Smiley Building, Durango CO
Join clinical herbalist and owner of Dancing Willow Herbs, Elliott Brinkley, alongside dancer and movement guide Ana Hyatt, for a two-hour immersive experience in embodied herbalism, where plant connection moves beyond the mind and into the body.
We will begin in quiet reverence, tasting and sitting with linden, a beloved heart-opening tree known for its gentle, nourishing presence. Through guided meditation, you’ll be invited to slow down, soften, and attune to the subtle language of the plant. From there, we’ll transition into guided movement practices designed to bring you out of the analytical mind and into deeper relationship with your body. As the experience unfolds, you’ll be supported in intuitive, self-led movement- allowing linden to shape and inspire your expression.
Perfect for Mother's day season and the rising bloom of late spring, linden invites us into receptivity, sweetness, and the quiet abundance that comes from being deeply nourished and supported. It reminds us of enough-ness, of the pleasure, fertility, and fullness that arises when we are grounded in ourselves. After our movement practice, we will gather to explore linden more deeply- its medicinal benefits as a heart tonic and nervous system ally, its folklore and energetics, and ways to work with it in your own herbal practice.
This class is for anyone longing to deepen their relationship with plants through direct experience: blending meditation, movement, and herbal wisdom into a practice of connection, presence, and embodied learning.
